How To Make Your Wimbledon Look Like A Million Bucks

There were fourteen thousand or so men and women filling nearly every seat on Centre Court at Wimbledon early Saturday evening, and they stood and roared, whistled and popped champagne bottles-yes, at Wimbledon, you can bring bottles, or your beer or Pimm’s (in a proper glass), to your seats-when the players walked on court to begin a mixed-doubles match. Eschewing the regular Hocus Pocus story, Bewitched starts out like an adult attraction and even forces groups to walk through in the now familiar single file conga line. Unfortunately, after the halfway escape point (which we saw many children use) the rest of the maze was just a dark walk through of the space used for the Twilight Zone attraction earlier this year. Despite the fact that this is a re-brand of an existing attraction all the existing features such as the trommel rotating tunnel and the mirror maze at the end are all built into the story (albeit all appearing in a slightly different state). Overlaying the black walls, all the sets have been elaborately decorated with hundreds of artefacts and trinkets to make the rooms look completely realistic – from an Egyptian temple, to a pirate ship and a lush jungle.
